They argue that life insurance can be beneficial in that it provides for and protects your family in the event of an unexpected death, it can support philanthropic goals, maintain family peace, even protect your assets from creditors’ claims. As always, the most important aspect of a well crafted estate plan is the planning itself, so these authors urge maintaining life insurance as a strong aspect of your estate plan.
