The 2019 ACTEC Summer Meeting was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, on June 26-29, 2019. A summary of observations from the seminars at the meeting is available on the link below.
The meeting included one day of seminars from a program titled “Restocking the Trust Advisor’s Toolkit with Income Tax Planning Strategies.”
In addition, the program included three panels discussing various issues, including cross border issues with Canada.
• Money laundering and terrorist financing fight– measures that impact lawyers;
•. U.S./Canada cross-border planning issues; and
•. Cross border considerations for clients who travel and live internationally.
