This year, the United States House of Representatives passed the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement (SECURE) Act by a 417-3 vote. However, the bill has been “stuck” in the Senate ever since as a handful of Republican Senators, led by Tex Cruz, raised objections about various portions of the bill.
