Venable: Budget Reconciliation in 2021: How Biden Administration May Avoid the Filibuster and Enact Policy (Feb. 1, 2021)

Michel D. Bloomquist and Nicholas D. Choate, of Venable, have written an article describing how the Biden Administration may be able to enact policy and avoid the filibuster using the Budget Reconciliation package. They note that, while normally limited to once per year, because Congress failed to pass a budget resolution for the current fiscal year, this process may be used twice this year.
