Paul Caron has published an article on the TaxProf Blog, titled “Sixth International Conference on Taxpayer Rights”, which discusses the upcoming Sixth International Conference on Taxpayer Rights set to run from October 5th – 8th. The article begins as follows:
I’m pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 6th International Conference on Taxpayer Rights (ICTR). The theme of the 6th ICTR is Taxpayer Rights, Human Rights: Issues for Developing Countries.
As you may recall, the Center for Taxpayer Rights originally planned to hold this conference in October of 2020, at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. We are thrilled to have the African Tax Institute at the University as the host for the conference. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were obliged to postpone the conference until October 2021; and even now, we have had to concede that we must hold the conference virtually.
